Go back and look at The Rest of the Story in TDR issues 102 and 109. The injector is easily cleaned with water.

Crystalized DEF returns to solution instantly when it touches water.
Very unlikely a clogged DEF injector was the issue.
I think the only time the DEF injector has been pulled on my truck was when the SCR cat replacement recall was done.
