Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Codes... not good

I just got a 0251 and a 0252 codes this morning. What is the 0252? Its not on the codes list on this page. Truck is still running like normal. but the 251 code has got me a little nervous.

Sorry to say but it looks like you injection pump is on its way out.

What does the fuel valve do?? The only thing I've noticed is my fuel pressure is down even after I changed my filter. It still runs fine.

Injection pump is bad, 0252 code the only thing it can be is the injection pump

First line of defence, is to carefully unplug the harness/plug to the injection pump, check for corrosion or similar issues, perhaps spray with a good contact cleaner, and reinstall.



If that doesn't improve things, start saving up your $$$...

Would it still run like normal? Right now the check engine light turned off but I still have lower than ususal fuel pressure. It figures right when I get really close to affording a new transmission the truck makes me spend it on something else.
