In November after a month of 121,122 and dead pedal episodes, I got a new APPS and installed it after calibrating it to voltage marked on it. After install got MIL light again and same codes again with 216 also. Replaced VP this past monday and codes haven't cleared and MIL light is still on. Did I miss resetting something or what ???

Didn't know that. Usual clear is battery off during R&R and if that didn't do it after 3 start cycles the light goes out until another code sets it off.

That is OBDII mandated by the federal government for vehicles 1995 and newer. All OBDII vehicles will retain the codes and require a scanner to clear them. Some codes will disappear after a certain number of operation cycles without the problem that set the code being present. Even those will probably still store them internally they just will not set the MIL or show on the odometer. Disconnecting the battery will never clear the codes. If it does then the manufacturer did not really build it in compliance with federal regulations.
