Be sure to get the vent tube and the brake hose out of the way of the driver's side pipe... if the pipe hasn't already melted them up for you.

Tim has to strip out some of the old 'deadwood' lift pumps that have accumulated on his truck. No doubt this contributed to his higher than average too on the PA Turnpike? Plus fix the new fuel gauge so he knows where he stands.



I have boost leaks to check for and maybe even a new turbo... ?

Matt, they stayed right where I tied them that night. Not touching anything, but I am going to see about some heat shield wrap or something. I did lose a hanger on the other side from the one that I bent the washer on, tightening it. The nut fell off and let the hanger drop, but the long bolt caught and wedged in the spare tire, so I went to Homeless Desperate and got a replacement, and some wrenches, since mine are at home. Got it back on and will see if it comes loose again.

Mark, where in your area can I find 4" band clamps for exhaust? Around here, the only place is that shop that couldn't get the right oil filter until they called anyone and it's a drive anyway. Might as well get them near the shop, if there is a place.

ID/OD joints. BTW, I am off tomorrow. Gonna sleep in late, then head out in search of clamps. I can always hit the truck stop on 95. They should have them. They service the big rigs. Think NAPA would have that size? They didn't in IN.

Jengle, off exit 40 in Milford, take a right and there is a NAPA just down on the right. They will have them.



BTW... the 2 I have are for butt joints!

Those little wimpy clamps that came with the kit won't hold it and to tighten them hard enough to hold, Holeshot snapped one. I don't want to crank down on them and break them off, so I'll just replace with the good style.
