6 Degrees today started no problem, no plug in.
Steve says colder weather is coming, it is 1 Degree right now, I've Amsoil 5w-30 in the engine, and Amsoil Diesel conditioner in the tank. I am not plugging in, just to show you Newbies that it will be allright!
Oh, by the way, how are you STRAIGHT 90W boys doing now? A certain HIGH ranking TDR administrator, insisted it did not get this cold in Michigan, and his truck was always in the garage anyway. Guess what? Garage is full, and the truck is out in -5 weather!
Did I mention all those extra extreme pressure additives need heat to activate them? At -5, how many miles does it take to warm them up? Don't worry, it will only grind a few thousands off, and winter is not that long!!! Besides, the money you saved over a synthetic will pay for any damage in the long run!
What did you say? It cost more than a synthetic? OUCH!
