Ok. .

Here is the results of our latest tune-up on Prorams ride. Seems like a minor flaw was developed when we wrapped the boost gauge all the way around to the 0 stop past the bottom. One thing is certain, the township's recent dust problems are now solved as is any chance of his truck rusting. Tell us if me made a boo boo... ..... :D :D :D :D ... ... Andy

P. S. -At least we did not oil Ernie's walls, ceiling or floor this Friday like someone else we know. Bad thing is,the test tune on the jet will have to wait a week or so.

Big Boo Boo

Note To self: 95 PSI of boost might just be too much. .  25,000 and the heads been off it twice.

sheez! oh well. shoulda seen the look on Hammer's and my face when we opened the hood to look for leaks:--) :--)

guess i found a few... LOL ahh i didnt have anything to do this week at nite anyways..... PS this was all Hammers fault!!:D :D i was showin off for him... . guess the gate needs to be adjusted... ;) ;) ... .

Hee Hee, Later Scott

Wow,that stinks. I was just messing with my gate friday, pinned the needle on 80PSI,and kaboom, blew off the drivers side lower intercooler boot. Im glad that was all i lost. Its scarey how fast the twin turbos can go from 20psi to 80+PSI of boost. I couldnt get my foot off the throttle fast enough.

Ok. .

So could someone who was at Fall brawl lend us the shovel that Jetpilot used to bury his headgasket it, so we can now bury this gasket along side it... ... ..... Andy

One side note. .

This is partly Rams-N-Hogs fault,If he would not have told Scott about the turbo company we would not have been messing around like this:D :D :D .

How come you guys are havin' so much trouble with yur head gaskets? My head hasn't been off for over a year now. I'm at 90 psi BTW. Then there's MADDOG at 95 psi with his engine. Sutton is right up there too. Whuz the problem back there?

I dunno HVAC, maybe our dynos don't read 200 hp high?

You guys have NEVER blown a headgasket?

Ahh, what is this about dynos? You guys grasping at straws???

Put a sock in it sled.

Lemme know when you have a street driven rig that does sub 12 seconds. Yawn:rolleyes:

should be soon got the vavle body and the transmission should be done this week just have to finish wiring up the street trim and get the front end lined up

Yes I agree Sleddy...

One only has to wonder why when the left coasters always roll a jet the torque numbers are always mysteriously missing. Maybe its a deal where they are making their power so high in the rpm band their tachs are at a high orbit level similar to a SR71 Black hawk and their torque readings would show even Jason's Honda could compete with them in that category. LOL. One thing I'll say is this, when it popped it was unknown to us. The truck was still pulling boost and making power,no lag, just plain old planting your rear in the seat, tearing the lugs off the TRUXUS's and us saying its ready by smiling(well, almost ready anyway). Since seat of the pants driving don't mean jack and only dyno's are considered(shoot,I mean dyno, since we all know there is only one that counts)I guess we will have to wait and see what results we get on the "Humbler"... ... ... ..... Andy

Let me know when you cats can win an open class at Muncie, with a street truck, lol.

Wait a minute. How did I get dragged into this? I guess me and Scott spent a little too much time with the grills? By the way, thanks Scott, now I know what combo NOT to use if I ever want to run with twins. :D :D :D :D

Blowed up.

Well i got it almost completely apart, and from what i'm seeing the only reason it let go was builder error(Me) the head'll be off tomm. nite and then i'll know for sure. just a big mess to clean up.

#@$%! I am VERY happy w/ the setup and once i get this bug straightend out we'll have some fun!!

Till Tomm. Scott

You guys really need to listen to king HVAC... . after all he invented twin turbos, remember Gene? Are you saying your rig is a sub 12 second street rig hvac? BTW, I don't have problems with headgaskets, either. 90 psi is ok for you preschoolers out west, but frankly we have singles making that. And just so we are on the same page, what are the inlet wheel sizes on these chargers?

Hey Scott,

i talked to Andy(HAMMER) yesterday morning while he was on his way to the bowling alley. He told me he was gonna swing by your place on his way home to take a spin in your truck. Must have been one heck of a ride!!!! If i know you as good as i think i do you'll have it back together before the end of the week and it'll be better then ever. Let me know how you make out. Still waiting on a buyer for my stacks, then i'll get in touch with you about the parts i am gonna need. Talk to you later.
