Problems ????

How many Lift pumps have failed???Did they get this common problem fixed???Hope so.

I have not heard of a one, lift pump failing that is. I did hear that fuel pressure on the rail is extremely high and that death maybe knocking on your door if you fool with those lines under pressure. I forgot the numbers, but unheard of pressure in my book for fuel. The tech I spoke to said you could inject diesel fuel right through the skin, right now. Glen

Hi All, Glen i just wrote you a note, in regards to your new truck. I have a03 located but haven't looked or drove it yet , What are some of the bad things i need to look for besides the shaft vibration, Does anyone know id dodge is going to fix this vibration problem?/ Thanks guy's

It only applies to 4wd trucks. Mine does not do it with about 1500 pounds in the bed which leads me to believe it is in the alignment of the shaft and not the shaft itself. I am at fault for not taking my truck back to the dealer. I say buy one, I love it! I will be going to Green Bay Friday to pick up and antique Taylor stationary engine. I almost always get 17 to 18 miles to the gallon and sometimes as high as 23, you have to drive below 60 for that though, and believe me, in this truck that is hard to do! If you want to go for a ride or drive one. let me know. Green Ford in Abilene was super to deal with and very supportive when I took it in for the shaft problem. He laid the invoice, not the sticker, on the table and we went down from there. He would really like to get more Cummins customers, so go visit. I still think it is odd that the spell check for this site catches Cummins! Glen Really Cool Trucks!
