cold Diesel, It does make a difference. Makes more smoke also. But it did not slip my clutch. :D YET:cool: Keep looking for the problem. You will like the results, but your clutch may not.

Hey Jason,

I'm surprised as well but it will be better soon. Piers is going to install my southbend, DD111's, HX40, and manifold while I am out floating around in the Pacific Ocean in the boat. Lazy yes, but I seem to have more money than time lately. After vacation I have to work 24 days straight on 12 hour shifts. BOMB's would have to wait more than a month if I were to do them myself. My diesel is more fun to play with than the gas turbine generators at work but someone has to keep the lights on.

Maybe I will stop by on my way back from Vancouver for a couple of wobbly pops if you have some time. ;)

Hey Cold Diesel,on testing your connection with a voltage reading,is a mistake cause the chinsey scothlock that Edge provides may not carry the amps. A weak connection will carry voltage but when the amp load increases the connection may not be strong enough to carry it. From the looks of the wire at the injection pump, that you tap looks fairly heavy . So to prevent intermitant problems SOLDER THE CONNECTION. Merv

You guys who cant feel power from lvl 1 to lvl 5, THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG! Its like night and day. lvl 5 will snapp you back in your seat like nothing. Dont settle and think its working ok because its not. I have used the scotch lock for 50k+ now and its working great so far. I want to be able to take it off when I sell the truck or for what ever reason. (Sell the Truck, thinking about that brings a tear to my eye;) )

Anyway good luck and dont settle!

The Comp works great ... ..... now that the clutch holds:rolleyes:

I dynoed at 310 HP with the comp, a Scotty, ceramic coated ATS manifold, and a ceramic coated Piers super HX40.

I dynoed at 405HP with the DD111's in but the tires were spinning on the dyno when I got that number so there is definitely more there. ;) Need a better dyno.

I am all :D :D :D now.

Next is how to keep my EGT's in check. I can hit 1450* by the time I hit 110MPH in 5X5 now... ... and I back out right away when I touch there.

Do I get 400HP club status now even though this was on a mustang dyno? Hope so the truck is  now!!!

Home again are ya? Good to hear everything is :) with your new toys... ... . never did ask you what you thought of your ConFE..... assume it's good though! :p

110 is only slightly over the speed limit there lad... ... . dunno if the poor old Cloud will even achieve that speed anymore with its portly weight and barn-door aerodynamics. Can still make a mean cloud of smoke though... ... .

If it don't go... ... . chrome it!
