OK guys, finally ready for more power. I have a 99 2500 4x4 auto with 100k miles. I added 275's @ about 70k. I have 315/70/17 tires and 3. 54 gears. The rest is stock. I spoke with ATS yesterday and it looks like I'm going with their transmission. The next thing I will do is add gauges.

So, should I go with the edge comp or tst pm3? Also, should I get 4" or 5" exhaust? Or does this really matter and I should get whichever I can get for the best price?

By the way, I only tow about 5% of the time but when I do its usually an 11k trailer.

Thanks

TST--- instead of overriding a lot of the stock functions, it RESPONDS to them. Thus, the stock ECM is controlling timing and such. The TST responds to boost, so you can get a box with a little less smoke.

The competition TST will smoke like George Burns.

The Comp is a good box, but I prefer TSTs approach. Both companies have AWESOME customer service. You really can't go wrong with either.

I agree unless you are looking for max hp (like drag racing) stick with the tst box. I have one and have added a timing box that I stack but onlyturn it on in the 1/4 mile.

I'd say the Comp box. It's a major fueling box and has timing built in too. It allows for smoke level adjustment in each power level, so you can turn the smoke down, even with larger injectors.

TST for me. I like the way the box works with the electronics. I also stacked mine with a timeing box that I can turn on and off when I want. I have both boxes but my edge box sits on a shelf only as a backup.
