Compass and map wrong

Good afternoon. Last night while going home I just happened to glance at the compass reading and it had me traveling NW when in fact I was going NE. I turned on the nav system to look at the map and it showed names of streets several miles from where I actually was and had me driving across a lake. I deleted all of the recent locations I have searched on for driving directions thinking maybe something was still active but that didn't change anything. I stopped and did some shopping for maybe 1/2 hour and when I left the parking lot everything was still wrong. Then, all of a sudden I noticed that the compass reading made a couple changes and then corrected itself along with the map. This morning while driving to work everything was fine. Anybody ever experienced anything close to this???? Thanks......Don

Yes, once in two years of ownership. I didn't look at the compass but the nav was way off, just like you described. Then just like yours it cleared and hasn't happened since. Just a glitch? But for the record I have not driven across a lake. Your one up on me there!

Not exactly like that but I had issues with a backup camera and other quirks after updating to 17.11.07. I think you connect is due for another firmware update. I did a factory reset which fixed my issue but uconnect told me they don't advise it.
