2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Compass is directionally challenged!

My compass in the overhead display is displaying a 0 (zero) with an arrow in the middle of it. Anyone else seen this happen?

Haven't seen that personally but I do remember there is a routine to reprogram for declination involving doing slow donuts in an empty lot - check the owner's manual for specifics??

You may have inadvertantly hit the correct combination of buttons to change it to compass headings in degrees.

there is a guide of some sorts in my owners manual that tells how to recalibrate my compass. Dunno if yours has that or if it will be of help, but try looking in there.

Did the circle thing in the parking lot, no help. The degree thing is not it becuase it will read north and south just fine. Anything to do with east and west no go. I post some pics later.

Do you have anything magnetic close to the compass? A magnetic antenna on the roof can cause problems too.

Your dealer should have a deguassing tool if the roof has become magnatized.

I think my cab lights lights are leaking and water got into the overhead readout. But the compass is the only thing that seems to be effected. Everything else works as expected. Do they make replacement seals for the cab lights?
