I want to have compound turbos and keep my stock turbo to save money. Talked with ATS rep today and they said that I would need to get a turbo from an 03 or newer to use their system. Does anyone know of another company that I could look up and still keep my current turbo?

You might try here. They make a kit to use the stock chargers on the 03-up, but I'm not sure on trucks older than that.

I have the above links twin kit on my truck. Just put it in over the winter.

You will need to source a divorced wastegate turbine housing for your stock turbo, and REALLLLLY need to consider head studs... as in, get some head studs with the twins.

Rip and his crew at Source Automotive are excellent people. They have a quality kit and detailed instructions for install.

I agree that studs should be installed, but I am at 575 hp and no studs, hx-40/ht3b 200 sticks, been way over a year with this set-up,no problems YET!just lucky I guess. I do drive it like I have a brain!

I have my own dirty little secrets that I won't share in fear of jinxing it.
