Computer flash

I have a 2015 2500 with 68rfe. I had it in for the catalyst recall a month ago. I took it in today for the leaking brake light. I was told by the service advisor he didn't think the transmission computer got upgraded to the newest software when the flash was done for the recall on the ammonia sensor.
Does that sound possible? To do a flash for the power ecm but not the transmission module? They said they'll see if any updates were available. I just thought I'd check with you guys. Thanks
