Computer Memory Information?

Hey guys, My buddy is looking at a 3rd gen and we want to see if it was abused, well maintained, mostly highway miles etc.



If my memory serves me correctly, I remember reading somewhere that there was a way to pull up all of the computers information that has been stored over the life of the vehicle but I cannot remember the procedure. :{



The type of info I am looking for was the max speed, max egt, hours idleing etc. and if my memory serves me correct there was a way to do this with either the trip computer or the odometer.



Is my memory failing me or can this be done?

The dealer can pull total time, idle time, fuel used, total fuel, total fuel economy, and the load in 10% steps from 10-100. I'm sure there are a couple more, but that is all I can recall.

There's a way to check total engine hours. Don't recall exactly how. A Smarty can check for total turns of the key. If extremely low key count the vehicle would've had a previous downloader.
