There was a discussion a while back about using the factory computer temp guage wiring for another temperature sensor (transmission fuild, etc) and switching between the two sensors to have the temps displayed on the overhead display.

Has anyone done this? Where and what are the wires involved?

Anyone?

wcharlie,

It might be that the upper input range of the computer is too limited. Unless the temperatures are under about 108, you may exceed the scaling in the computer. I did see my system go 'bonkers' when the temp ran over that while in stop and go traffic between Las Vegas and San Diego last year.
