I am not one to support the smoke out side of this post, BUT!!

Until we take ahold of Mexico and force them to the same standards we are putting on our own people, the environmentissue is a joke here. We had to comply with the new laws on paint booths a few years back. Guess who was buying all our "outlawed booths and non HVLP guns? Paint shops in Tijuana Mexico. Have you ever had to fill up on that filthy crap they call fuel? It smokes more than high sulfer off road diesel.

To any all environmentalists who dislike diesels, guess what, it takes less to refine Diesel than GAS! Diesels have a longer life which lowers the manufacturing waste to produce another "economy car" You stupic over educated idiots!! Wake up and look at the overall picture. GAS or DIESEL, the stuff all stinks, it all pollutes and you are looked at as a joke in my eyes. I used to support many environmental groups until it was the "in" thing to do. Now, I feel safer trusting felons with my wife and kids future. Why is it that there is this compelling need to push ones views on everyone else lately? Don't we get that enough in the media? To those smoking out other motorists, show some respect, its a good way to get followed to your destination and come back to a set of flat tires or keyed paintjob.

To those complaining about it, back off their bumper and pick another lane. You were probably following too damn close!!

I agree with all you said.

Letts send all environmentalist to mexicoOo.

I agree with most everything said in this thread to at least some extent.

Yeah, i like to see a good soot cloud from time to time. When someone is being a real jerk, i even like to drop a soot bomb on them. Or at least i used to... I'm becoming more and more of the opinion that for every person that is "taught a lesson" i. e. smoked out, there are a multiple of people that are offended by the APPARENTLY huge amount of pollution. Like it or not, how people percieve this stuff is probably the main factor in what laws we are going to have to deal with.

No matter which side of the soot argument you fall on, the bottom line is, if enough people, or maybe "certain" people get ****** off, we will have laws to deal with. I don't like gun laws at all. Think they are absolutely ridiculous, but i have to deal with them now, because they exist. Don't want to have the same limitations on how much power i can make with my truck.

There is a time and a place for everything, but dropping smoke clouds in the middle of a busy intersection for example is not going to help our sport in any way. Save the big smoke shows for the track, or pulling track, and i don't think the general population will have any problem with it.

Just my opinion,

Chris
