We incorporated a lot of your suggestions and came to this.

It is protected by a stainless steel grid, top is aluminum, and the bug screen is held by some paper clip (strong) type clamps, top and bottom.

I would be interested in purchasing one of those guards you fabricated if you decide to sell them.

We're still waiting on the steel mfr to get us the material to make these parts. It's all custom ordered. However, I have a few bare metal ones I can let go right now. $20. 00 plus shipping outa cover these few prototypes we have laying around. This will not be the final price of the production units. I'm just looking to move these out of the warehouse.

Will the production copies be Stainless, painted steel, powder-coated steel, or Aluminum?

Powder coated steel. Everything else is too expensive. Heck, the steel itself is kind of expensive.

Did anyone else order one of the 20. 00 dollar prototype guards? Mine looks like it was laying in a scrap pile its all bent and in no way will fit with out a bunch of strightening.

Real nice dude. Like I just told you in your PM, if the unit is bent, you can thank UPS for the damage. I sure don't want you as an upset customer so send the unit back for a refund. I'll file the claim with UPS myself.

Sorry, but you had to be in my seat reading what I did. First in his PM, then here. It wasn't pretty or fair.



It's real simple. If UPS damaged the unit, he can send it back. Heck if he just simply doesn't like it, he can still send it back. It's not that big of a deal and yes we do stand behind our products. Even the prototypes. I'm easy to get along with.
