There has been some inquiries about the condenser guard shown below that I also have posted in my photo album. (There is one more picture in the album that I could not attach for some reason) I have been asked what it is made of and if I thought about making more and selling them. I am interested in member feed back if there is a true demand for these. I know Geno's sells the Kilby's Condenser guard and I am sure its a good product as everything I have bought there I am happy with. (Had I known about Geno's/Kilby's Condenser Guard at the time I probably would have purchased one myself). It is made out of 1/2" 316 S. S. . 035 wall Tubing and 304 S. S. 3 x 3 . 047 mesh (3squares x 3 squares per inch). It mounts at the 4 locations the condenser attaches to the intercooler. I painted it black for a nice factory look.

It is very light yet stout and I am confident it would withstand a suicide sparrow at 80 MPH. It has traveled some winter miles and the truck has chips on the facia from gravel etc. , not a ding one on the condenser.

I dont have any idea of what I would charge, for that matter what they would be worth or if I am interested in making them to sell, you tell me?

I like it, and I want one.

It sure looks better than my window screen set-up.

As soon as you decide about production let me know, I'll send you a check.

Thanks,

Ray

I too would be interested, although it is a little late. Seems every time the hood is up for any kind of work there is another mashed in area of fins. :{

yes. . I would buy one. . it is worth every penny what genos charges and more,, yours is nicer and protects more

IM me if you want to sell me one

I am interested as well however I wonder about what the cost will be considering the materials and most importantly the time that must have been required to fashion such a quality product.

I was looking over your work yesterday. I'll hold off buying the kilby if you really think you might be interested in making a few of these. I'm not sure if the mounting holes differ by model year cause I read some discussion of that but I've got a 2006 2500 QC so I would think the holes would be pretty much the same as on your rig. Please let me know if you decide you want to make these, what a fair price is for you, how you would want to do payment and how long you need to get production going. Your work looks good, but the snow will be melting soon out there!
