Its still up in the air. I want to sell the good transmission that is still in my truck stock with about 10,000 miles on rebuild and have a transmission built up north.



I also want some injectors... .



I think I am safe to run the truck with the current transmission the truck is only making 200 HP @ the rear wheel right now.



I do expect the truck will run 1 second better then last year.



I wanna run and as soon as HOSS see's this he will pull on my ear and say somthing like boy you better run that thing.

I'm still trying to get my truck running. I just assembled my new motor, I was having troubles starting it and later found that I had put in 3 of the seven rods in backwards. I also melted the battery trying to get it to turn over. I just might have to run the green truck this weekend :-laf

Well there is a no brainer.

Of course a set of Piers street twins can't compete with the big hammers. Come to think of it, a little hammer with a single, smacked me pretty hard, too.



But back in the day, with my first set of twins, I didn't have the most power, but I was RIGHT THERE in the hunt!! ( Actually, the last time I ran against "open" trucks was Jesup GA, 03, I placed 6 out of 18. )



How have you been doing in competition lately Mark? You play on dynos, right? Have you broke 400 HP yet?

I did run 527hp back in '02. I can never keep a truck in one piece long enough to make a good dyno run.



Every time I planted the tires in my 12v it broke. . HARD. I finally sold it. it was a blast to drive but i couldn't afford to keep fixing it.

Remember Lance it is not me you need to worry about it is my wife :-laf she is the one who talked you into taking your camper off and racing at Spokane (I wanted you to leave the camper on ) Mrs. Hoss will be racing this Saturday as well as myself, you worried about being beat by a girl? Since you both drive first gen trucks it should be a good race!!!! I know a guy at a local sled pull who was real mad when my wife yelled HA HA you got beat by a girl!!! after his pull came up shorter than her's. He did not even stop, he just unhooked and hit the road :-laf

Just becasue a Guy spent 2 hr. striping everything out of his truck to make the light weight class and then gets beaten, very badly by your wife, there is no need to rub it in HOSS. But you might want to teach her to let off the go pedal at the Drags. Just becasue the NEW truck your driving is compleatly sideways does not mean its going fast!! If she would of let off just a little, She would of betten me twice in one weekend!! And I did not HIT the road I just parked my truck under the tree, put all the stuff back on and hid from her the rest of the day!!

You just tell that girl as soon as I have some green backs in my pocket the 1ST Gen is getting some more go parts... .



I cannot turn the pump up any more so I gota get a nice set of injectors for the old girl.



You need a low miles stock rebuilt transmission there HOSS for the 1ST Gen I may have one of them for sale soon also...



I think the 50/50 mix is on its way for this weekend also...
