Console vault

Anybody install the console vault from Geno's? I would like a picture of it if you have.

I have one and really like it. Well made and fits perfectly in the lower part of the console. Sorry no pictures, beyond my capability.

Does the seat remain or do you lose it? The one picture I saw it wasn't very plain.

I have one in both of my trucks, (2004 and 2007). The 03 through 05 models are a bit deeper and larger than the 06 and 07 models. You don't loose the seat on either. I love mine as its great to keep the valuables in if you have to leave it some where of compromised honesty.



You just raise the lower seat storage lid and remove 2 screws drop the console vault in and use the 2 longer screws they provide to secure it. Simple as could be.



That said, my 2004 has a key and the 2007 has the combo lock. I think the combo lock is more convenient as you don't have to drag around another key. On a side note the combo lock only has three rows of rotating digits so the security vs the key may be a slight bit less. I suppose you could fiddle with the combo lock long enough to crack it if you had the time. The key on the 2004 is one of those round cylinder type keys which I don't think could be picked no matter what.
