Hey y’all,

had a business console fall in my lap that I put a deposit on and the guy sold anyways. And kept the deposit. Anyways *****ing done.

Any of you guys know if I can take the top half of a 4th gen jump seat that has the 3 cup holders and bolt it to the bottom half of my 3rd gen unit? I’m having a really hard time even finding a 4th gen jump seat with bottom storage that has the cup holders.

I have both the 2004.5 and now a 2023 Laramie, both with what is called a bench seat even though they have split buckets and no console to hit against your leg, which is likely the same seat you have. I measured them and I believe it's doable. The 2004 is a shorter upper console compartment without the cup holders but the width and height are the same and the space between the hinges is the same. I can't see the hinges because both are covered with trim but likely they are the same and you might be able to see a picture of it in an on line manual. There will be a difference in electric though because the newer ones do not have the 12V plug for devices. Mine only has the 115V plug, which does not make much sense to me unless I want to plug in a blender for margaritas while driving. And there is another one of those at the base of the console in the rear for the bartender in back. What the hell???? So I'm 5th Gen now with the 23 but I imagine it's the same all the way through.

Thanks Mike for the reply and the update. I am definitely looking into a cup holder upper console. I’ve seen other videos and posts of the missing hinges that we can’t see and from what I can tell. They are interchangeable tops.
