The Dodge/CTD 2500 2wd is no. 4, Dodge/CTD 2500 4wd no. 14. I agree they don't like 4wds.
I'd bet a handfull of grease zerks would've made 'em less costly to maintain and given them a higher rating.![]()
If you look at their site it looks like the 4wds get knocked down the list by driveline problems. Judging by all the front wheel u-joints, ball joints and unit bearings needing replacement, I'd say their ratings are probably pretty accurate.
Don't forget that all vehicles are darn reliable today compared to the past. So even a statistically small number of u-joint failures could really knock a truck down the list.
