get them out? I have the Energy Suspension replacements, but I can't get the originals out. I managed to drill/burn/saw the first one out, but I'll run out of day before I get the other 7 out! Any suggestions? TIA
When I changed mine I just used a torch and carefully burned them out. Used a dowel on a drill with emory cloth to clean up the insides. When using the torch be carefull because some of the rubber fell out others shot up and out.
No kidding! For as bad as they looked, they sure were tough. On one of my lower arms, the bushings were different due to a replaced arm. It had the inner metal, rubber, another layer of metal, then the rest of the rubber. I finally had to break out the MAPP torch :-laf . The others drilled out pretty easily. Of course, I did the hardest one first and was thinking, HOLY COW! This is going to take all weekend! :{ Didn't even get a chance to drive it yet.
