I am thinking of changing my control arm bushings. I have done a little searching but most stuff was older posts and wanted to see what was the latest and greatst. I am going to go with the DSS so as I understand you cant use Enegy Suspensions poly sway bar bushings because of interferance. Sounds like not a very good customer service company. I talked to a company called Prothane and they have the control arm bushings but no 34MM sway bar bushings. Has anyone used this company with any luck? Is changing the control arm bushings hard to do? Any good directions? thanks for any help

When I bought my 12V it needed new control arm bushings. I replaced with rubber. I should've gone poly or all new aftermarket control arms. The rubber replacement was not easy. The rubber was also alot more expensive than poly. If I had gone aftermarket it would've gone alot easier. Also, don't forget to mark the cam position on the lower control arms. It may be necessary to adjust the cam position to make the top control arms fit. When done move the cam bolts back to the original position. You're now ready to for a front end alignment.
