I am planning on doing a 3" lift to my truck. 3" spring blocks in front and shooting for about a 2" lift in the back via an add-a-leaf type of deal. So, with a 3" lift up front, do I need to also replace the control arms with longer ones on the bottom? Looks like I can rotate the cams about 1/4" to 3/8" forward some more on the bottom before it is at the max. Not sure if this will be enough though.

Thanks

I think your going to need a set of 4, they make fixed length or adjustable. Remember pinion angle and driveshaft angle along with caster angle, all which are important.

Give Tyler at Jack-it.com a call he can hook you up with what you need and at a great price. I put d25's on the front and he had me take measurements with stock and sent me the the correct length bars. I was amazed at how much it inproved the steering.

I found that after installing the KORE leveling kit the closest I could get the caster was 6 degrees book calls for 4 degrees. That was with the adjustment cam maxed out. If you install taller springs (3" lift) I'd go for the Calli controll arms with the grease fittings. Also while you'r at it install the Calli upper ball joints. You can save some money but in the long run you will spend more fixing things after they wear out.....

Does anybody know if control arms from an 03 will work on a 99? I found a used set cheap. They are Skyjacker brand. The upper set is labeled "DUL253-L 03 Dge Upper Link 2-5" Lift" and the lower set is labeled "DLL23-L Dodge Lwr Link 2-3". I am pretty sure the bushing sleeves will need to be changed for the different bolt size on my 99. A bit of research online tells me the lower set is indeed right for a 99. I can't tell about the upper set though as I only fond this part # in reference to a 2003 model year. He measured them center-center...

Lower: 18 3/4" center-center

Upper: 16 1/2" center-center

If they will work after getting the correct bushings then this will be a great deal for me. Any insight on 03 to 99 interchangeability is much appreciated.
