Has anyone tried the Cooper Discoverer H/T tires? I'll be needing to replace before winter and am starting the search. The LT265/75R16 are rated "E" load range, and have a 60,000

mile treadwear warranty. The Discoverer A/T are 50,000 miles, and are a little more aggessive than the H/T.

I've got the H/Ts on mine and so far am very happy with them, about 12,000 miles to date. They ride and handle as good as the Michelins and a whole lot cheaper.

I am putting 235/85R16s Cooper Discoverer LTs (stock size) back on my sons truck today. We ran coopers on our rubbish trucks and had very little troubles.

We have had terrible experience with Cooper tires and will never run another set. We had ply separation on a work truck, the sidewalls keep cracking on my mom's van (dad like's it because they keep pro-rating them and he gets a new set of tires every year for $40), mom also had a bad tire with the replacements it wouldn't balance and bounced all over the place, on a friend's 1500 gasser they wore out in under 30k miles, another work truck 2500 gasser that does a fair amount of towing and at 10k the tires have worn significantly, heck even after trying an alignment to eliminate a vibration on the GF's car the tech said the car checks out fine and the alignment is perfect is said perhaps it's the Cooper tires as they have a few problems with them as well.

Here in MI Cooper is the #1 replacement tire. They are usually the least expensive tire that many of the tire shops sell around here.

This is just my negative experience with Coopers and others have had great luck with them. Who knows, maybe you will too. I know we will never purchase another set of Coopers and next time around I think we will spend a few more $$$ and get a better tire.

I think those or the tires I put on my 95. They were smooth and quite is about all I can say cause thats the truck I hit a tree with and totaled out the truck me too:confused: far a while. Did not get to put many miles on them.

I'm on my second set of 265/75R16 Cooper Discover AT's, the first set went about 35000 miles and had about 5000 left when I ruined one on a large rock and this set looks like it will last about the same. My stock Michelins went 45000 but gave far more problems with flats.

We run them on all 7 of our CTD 2500's at work and they perform flawlessly. Long lasting tread and no problems towing with them.

I ran the SRM II's on my 98, I will put the same tire on my 02 if the michelens don't last as long as the lease.

My truck had the H/T's on the rear axle when I bought it. Don't know how many miles were on them when I replaced them.

I used them for about 10-15k miles. Only used 2 to 3/32nds. of tread. Even though they were almost wore down to the wear indicators, they still did surprisingly well in snow and mud.

Replaced all 6 tires with Cooper S/T's. So far I'm very happy with them.

If they hold up as well as I think they will, I will buy them again if still available by then.

I am running the A/T 285`s. 5000mi on them so far, they ride better than the Winston tires I replaced with the Coopers.
