We have had terrible experience with Cooper tires and will never run another set. We had ply separation on a work truck, the sidewalls keep cracking on my mom's van (dad like's it because they keep pro-rating them and he gets a new set of tires every year for $40), mom also had a bad tire with the replacements it wouldn't balance and bounced all over the place, on a friend's 1500 gasser they wore out in under 30k miles, another work truck 2500 gasser that does a fair amount of towing and at 10k the tires have worn significantly, heck even after trying an alignment to eliminate a vibration on the GF's car the tech said the car checks out fine and the alignment is perfect is said perhaps it's the Cooper tires as they have a few problems with them as well.
Here in MI Cooper is the #1 replacement tire. They are usually the least expensive tire that many of the tire shops sell around here.
This is just my negative experience with Coopers and others have had great luck with them. Who knows, maybe you will too. I know we will never purchase another set of Coopers and next time around I think we will spend a few more $$$ and get a better tire.
