After now almost 24 years in the Fire/EMS business, I can't recall ever having a time when there was even a disagreement between us and the responding officers, let alone someone being arrested. In my experience, the officers we work with, mostly the Pennsylvania State Police, and local city/borough departments, have been completely helpful to us while we have been working a scene. When the patients have been loaded/transported, we then are more than willing to help with anything they need for their investigation, etc. Heck, some of these guys are close friends at this point and we have been doing things together off duty. It's just shameful for the brotherhood that something like this happens.
