[QUOTheyTE="Rob S, post: 2645084, member: 1032518"]Dont forget the Costco Hot Dog and a coke deal for $1.50! Oh yeah the rotisserie chicken for 5 bucks is great too. :)[/QUOTE]
Same prices for the snack bar food in Hawaii. The families hit 'em up.

Here you go. I stumbled onto this “Moneywise” clickbait article-
https://moneywise.com/a/ch-b/the-bi...ig+Brands+Who+Make+Costco's+Kirkland+Products
and confirmed what we assumed.

I go to Costco as a guest of a member usually...pay them back cash. If you know a member who will buy gift cards for you, you can do that or shop online w/o being a member for a 5% surcharge. I've seen cases where "Costco list +5%, plus shipping" was still better than others.

See - Costco isn't cheaper! You have to buy something else too - it's a trick to get you to spend $$.
At McD's you get food and enema for one money!
You don't have to buy anything else to get a hot dog & drink+refill. I've done it many times. I joined Costco in April, 1980. At the time it was Price Club. I've had cashiers look at the join date on my card in amazement saying they weren't even born when I first joined. Never regretted joining. Good prices, good warranties, good hot dogs, etc.

In San Diego you have to scan your card at a kiosk before you can order. You can pay at the machine with credit or pay with cash at the window. No more sponging off the paying members without a Costco membership. It's a Covid deal too. The food is ready as soon as you hit the window. The prep area is separated from the serving employees by a wall. Food comes through windows to the serving employees. It works well. The drinks are dispensed by an employee at the old dispensers. It's still unlimited but they give you a new cup each time. Unfortunately they hand the hotdog condiments to you in little packets and cups. No more hitting the grinder mechanism for your dog. With ever increasing deaths and cases it's going to be that way. Texas cases are up by about 19%. The masks don't work if you don't wear one. The CDC tested the neckerchiefs and deemed them worthless.

I've heard that they let people that aren't members come in for lunch. Don't know if it's true, or not. Damn good hot dog & drink for the price. It sure is nice to get a good deal and the dog actually tastes good, also. I do miss the onion grinder. Love onions on a dog or a burger.

I will not eat at any of these places mention.... I haven't had a "Mick's D" burger or a burger from Burger King since the earlier 90's and I have never had any food from either Costco's or Sam's, I refuse to graze at those places! Too many people handling the food and not taking proper health precautions! My younger sister worked at a "Mick's D" when she was a teenager and ever since than she has not entered any fast food burger joint. My daughter in-law works for the local county health department and she has stated the same thing; she will not eat at any local fast food burger joint.

But don't you need a COSTCO membership too buy that oil? If so, that cost must be filtered into the cost of the motor oil since it is a membership club this is not open to every one.
I can buy Shell Rotella T6 for $8.29 per 1 gal bottle at Blain's Farm And Fleet local store here. So, to me the Costco price for regular diesel oil is not that low of a price. Plus I do not need a membership to the store.

Holy cow, T6 is $19.99 a gallon on sale around here! Sometimes do get a rebate $5-7 @ gallon

How are you going to build and maintain an immunity in your body if you do not expose it regularly? Kids that never played in dirt have issues later in life.

I think at this point in his life Jim has the right idea now - sit back in a comfortable chair and watch someone else play in the dirt, then go in and eat a nice dirt free meal.

Costco's much different than the others and it's not a fast food joint. I ate at taco stands for 35 yrs in Baja. It builds immunity and character.

SnoKing; I won't drink the cool aid! I am over 70'so, I don't need to build any immunity to poor nutritional food! In fact I haven't had a hot dog since the middle 90's, my dear wife won't let the, in the house...

I had an uncle who worked in the meat packaging industry in the late 30's. He would never eat any hot dogs after working in the meat packing industry.
