cp3 freeze plug is gone, why? how? help!

cp3 freeze plug is gone, REPLACE?? or NEW PUMP?? why? how? help!

my local shop installed some parts for me last week

one day after the install when the truck was ideling

i noticed that its spraying alot really alot of fuel



i did make it home and its stoped right infornt of my house

later i noticed my cp3 freeze plug was gone

when i looked into the engine bay on pumps left side.



we installed "II cp3 bag of parts" the day before and

i had only driven 150km

what can go wrong? to high pressure?

4 days before that we installed fass 150gph



please help can i just get a new plug or have something been damaged

i dont think i have gotten bad fuel. . or i know all my fuel is good

since i use the same in 2 other cars

but i did put in 10liters from a canister but that was

rated for winter use to and should be good

had some really cold days n nights here but

its like the plug had been blown when it was ideling

when i went into the market to pick up some stuff :-{}

Did you install the BB correctly, If NOT thats why the plug pop. It is nearly impossible to put the plug back with the pump on the engine,We have the Plug, if you want it overnight shipping you Must let Me Know BEFORE 8am CST this Morning, You also may call Me @ 763-228-7121 this Morning Before 8am,the sooner the Better.

how does the check ball or bb look anyone got link to a photo ?

now i have looked at my pump and yes the ball is gone. .

and so are my freeze plug so new ones i need really hope

my pump is okay it have been running for like 1km after the plug went but maby

10-12km after the ball was lost. .

the odd thing was that i had good power

and dnt feel a think but when

my plug went it wsnt going fast at all

on the way home.



is it just one plug or should i look on somthing elese at

this time?

a local shop looked at some cp3 pictures and is it just a freeze plug or is it something in there? i know that those round plogs higher up is for the pump but if i understood the bosch pictures right is it somekind of spring under them that cant be right! (im not looking on the pistons)

now i got the parts from you tod will install it tomorrow.

industrial injection told me the pump should be junk

but they told me i can give it a try but its most likley

not worth the time...



my question is can i hurt something by doing this?

can the pump blow anything into my injectors if

it is damaged? has anyone blown a plug and just replaced it?

before i removed the fuelline i tried to start my truck and it started fine or better than with my old injectors but the fuel that was pooring out was massive from the plug. . but it sure runs so maby there is still hope for my pump!
starting to get crazy cant get any sleep want at least 4h before i go up and install in the morning and the clock is almost 4 at night here...
have missed my rig but now its warm outside just some below freezing
