CP3 vs VP44

What is the difference between a CP3 and a VP44? Are they for

different engines or what?

The CP3 is for the newer HPCR 3rd gen trucks and the VP44 is for the 2nd gen diesels. I'm sure someone who knows more than me about fuel pumps (probably 90% of people on the TDR) could give you more specifics, but there's a quick, basic answer for you.

The difference is..... the CP3 is a lot more reliable! I know that's not what your looking for but I couldn't resist.
