I wonder if the price of the 2018 CP3 can be posted up as it was missing in the "Everything's Fine. Couldn't be lighter." article. Over Six Grand for a 2019 6.7 CP4-2?! Injector cost at @$2500 times six... $15,000.00! Yeah that will lighten more things up like your wallet, 401K, 2nd home loan, etc!

The 3.0L diesel CP4-2 at $700.00

WTH the numbers are way off?

So instead of the old $10,000-$12,000 cost of a fuel system, the new ones cost upwards of $20,000?

I guess use of a fuel additive for lubricity might not be a waste of money ?

I just looked up my injectors. Retail price + tax puts them at $1700 ish each. You can buy them for $1300 ($1228 + tax) from a discount supplier. Retail, just the 6 injectors will cost $10,000

TC, pricing might not be allowed, but you can at least give a ball park number while not give the price away, or not?

People have given exact pricing on Fuel Filters that are available on Amazon marketplace and even identified the name of the merchant. I never gave the name of the merchant. My post i believe did not identify the merchant and did not violate forum rules.

If the mods consider it advertising, it will be removed. This Much I can say Make calls when it comes to PARTS and if that seller cannot gain your trust Move on, There's a very Valid reason(s) to beware. We have found China Part(s) in Bosch Boxes, Injector(S) with NONE OEM Nozzles, Some of the big name companies are selling molested Part(s) .

If you shop Ebay or Amazon watch out..Example Those cheap Cross Tubes- PRV- P-sensors- FCAs -Etc are cheap China Garbage and will cost big time in the future. Its the Origin that counts ,NOT the Seller. The Biggest Violators are Relate to BMS YEP "Bosch Motors Sports" in the Dsl world.

Newsa You can post all the Pricing you want UNTIL you offer those Products...at that Point the Advertising Rules apply.

Back to the original subject, I joined the club back in late August. I won't have to worry about it for 5 years, thats the Maxcare and Cummins warranty. I'll never exceed the milage side, although I'll drive a little more per year than my 07 C&C, I won't drive a 100,000 miles in 5 years.

Dealers occasionally post cut rate legit Mopar (and Cummins/fleetguard retailers for Cummins parts) parts on Ebay and Amazon marketplace. Everyone is responsible for their own purchases.

Todd's motto is "your truck, your money"

I have No problem with those seller's...that advertise and sell OEM parts that have Origins with OEM parts.... Place NONE OEM parts with OEM Labels and Boxes that the part is NONE OEM is were the deception is. and watch out for the saying "Factory Replacement" or "Brand New"

TC makes a good point about buying from 3rd party. Alot of times things go wrong like an experiance I had in 09, the first question was where did I buy their product? If I had bought the Lockpick device from a third party, I would never had got my lockpick to work. If I wanted the manufacture to honor any implied warranty, I'd have to go back to the third party to get it. However the tech support wouldn't have been free, it took three seperate devices to get it to work with the last one finally working as advertised. The manufacture covered all costs including return shipping. SO BEWARE WHEN BUYING THIRD PARTY, it maybe original parts, but if things go south, your on your own.

The price for CP4.2 and Injectors is in print in the TDR Magazin, so I think it is ok to mention them here.

6400.-$ + 2495x6 =?

But this price is now, with brand new vehicle and no aftermarket, I'm sure it will decrease over the next years.

that's just crazy money,

It sure is, no way why a CP4.2 is TEN times the price of a CP3 that has way more parts in it and is more difficult built.
Not long ago we got a gasoline V8 crate engine for the price of this pump.
Crazy!

I can see it now; every F&I Manager has a CP4 on his desk to scare up sales of those profitable extended warranties. "I understand your hesitation sir, but just consider this fuel pump alone costs $XXXX.00, and we both hope your spiffy new truck will never break, but think of the peace of mind of knowing you're covered". While silently thinking, " unless we assert your fuel was the cause".

And they quote you a high price for that extended warranty
