Did the Northwest KDP massacre today. Fixed five of the little moles. That jig... er. . fixture is quite slick. I made a quickie wrench for the fan nut and left it in there. Don't tell anyone I did it though. It's a real cob-job. Course you can't expect much for 5 min work. We only used it to tighten the fan anyway. we couldn't hold the pully enough to break it loose. My Pnumatic muffler gun with a pointy tip loosened all five right up though.

Thanks for keeping track of this Bill.

Larry

RColston: Nobody knows anything about a list, or there keeping quiet about it. I've been asking about it, do you want to send it to me? I'm in Az and you are probably as close to me now as its going to get.

Thanks

Michael

Mike,

PM'd a message to Matt Shumaker in Glenndale AZ. there is a thread about KDP Jig avail. he requested the jig shortly after Gil got it. If he dosen't respond, i'll send it to ya on Monday. I don't know your location in relation to his, but maybe you can get together and pick off a few of the little rascals. PM me and supply a shipping address.

Rick

As Rick just posted, he and I killed our Dowel Pins today! What a REALLY NEAT jig. I don't know who the genius is who invented it and put it all together but that man should be CONGRATULATED! ATTABOY!

Question: Do we send a contribution to him? If so... to whom & where?

And I have another idea... I think the jig gets stuck when 1 guy gets it, then (with the best of intentions) puts off doing the thing for awhile. So if you get the jig, GET ON LINE and TELL PEOPLE YOU HAVE IT so you can arrange a Kill the DP party. It is much easier with a lot of people & trucks! Rick and I had fun (He did most of the hard work!) We even managed to put a new water pump & radiator hose on my truck!

The NW jig's instructions ask that you send $20 to CPFF, the maker of the jig. That's cheap! One user even printed up a bunch of mailing labels with his name and address to make it easy. I don't know John's address offhand, it's with the jig.

Well the west coast is covered now, where are the last five jigs, lets get them moving.

Killer Dowel Pin

I need the address of CPFF so I can send him a contribution:D I fixed mine back in August the day I recieved it and mailed it back the next working day . It was avery well thought out fix and I also discovered the gear cover screws were loose causing a bad oil leak that i thought was coming from the crank seal. Fixed two problems at once :D :D THANK YOU CPFF:D :D

I can sort of see where this is going with the CA jig, seems like a lot of folks want to use it with no real organization. It will turn into whoever can PM the fastest getting it with no real list. Folks who want it and don't visit here all the time will lose out. It's good to give priority to Bomb parties so a date can be set also. Brandon has expressed the desire to be caretaker of the CA (now the SW jig. If no one has any objections you should start PMing him so he can get a list going. Too confusing to do it here in a forum thread.

i would love to keep the list of the the SW- ca jig ..... if no one has any objections then I will start the list and set up a few rules to make things easy ..... under the guise of bill... .....

I will ad a pm to my sig

i will forward the list and waiting period to any one who wants to know where they are at..... and keep her movin

rrausch all i want to get is name and stuff and a address of people so i can track it... ... I am assuming it is going to m barnett in arizona... ... .

Brandon, I will let you know as soon as I get it and send it to the person on your list, if thats how you want to do it. I will not have it but a couple of days. Thanks---Michael

Isn't this what everyone was supposed to be doing with CPFF all along? E-Mailing him with the status etc. ?

Let's not forget to send him a check either.

Jay

I don't think CPFF ever intended to keep track of the jigs, he just wanted them to get used. I'm sure he doesn't mind a few checks either...

YES mike just as long as i know who has it... ... ..... and where she needs to go next... ... . this is the whole battle

thanks man

S CA kdp Party?

If anyone gets the jig and wants to do a fix-it party count me in. San Diego to Santa Maria would be fine.

Thanks and Happy New Year! to all.

Frank

I was just thinking with 5 of the jigs in Ca. , whats the chance of one comming to the South. Believe it or not, we do have Rams down here. I heard of one in SC but it left before I could catch it.

Anybody know?

. . Preston. .

Does anyone have a name of the last person that had a jig in the midwest area.

If I can find that person, I'll be the detective and guardian over the jig, and get it back into circulation.
