ISO 2013 Steering box advice

I just replaced my CCV filter 4k early as I’m going to be driving to AK next Summer. I did the reset procedure even though I did not get the message. Will this reset the clock and it becomes 67,500 from here?

You'll still get the reminder, as it based on a mileage calculation, and not when you do it with reset. Let's say that you didn't do it to 70K +/-, you do the reset "dance", next reminder will be @ 135K. With that being said, have the reset procedure handy. You'll need it at 67.5K, or listen to the ding and display for a "few" miles!

I would plan on the next filter change, check the cooler and EGR for cleaning the soot out. On mine, I did mine at 130K, due to not knowing the previous time. I can say from what I encountered, every other time should be sufficient. At least that's the plan on my rig.

Best thing is that you are keeping up on the health of your truck! Drive and enjoy the seat time!
