hey Joe D. how much crankcase pressure do these older('95) 5. 9b's usually have ????
my front differential is getting oily from the tube, can feelslight pressure with my finger?
any one else ?

I have a bottle on mine to trap the oil. You can always feel some slight pressure coming out, I think it's probably normal since I'm not using any oil worth noting between changes. 53K miles.

I'm not sure about a Cummins,but on a Mercedes-Benz diesel the recomended method to check for a bad valve is to put a pressure gauge to the blow off hose. Anything over 5 psi indicates a problem. 5 psi is more than a slight pressure,with your thumb over the end of the hose you can make it fart,for lack of a better word.
