What was the payoff?
Long time, no talk. This is "whathill". Just a little background. MOPAR, yea. '68 Hemi Cuda SS/AA. '70 Hemi Cuda SS/AA. '72 3/4 ton Dodge, 4x4, 440. '73 Dodge, 3/4 ton TRUE CREW CAB, 440 auto. '96 3/4 ton Diesel Ram, Lemon piece of ****, brk problems. Dodge buys back. '98 1 ton 5 spd Diesel Ram. Numerous engine and lift pump problems. Traded in for '01 1 ton Diesel Ram, HO 6 spd. 25k miles, vibration in trans area already. This was to be the transition truck to the "REAL CREW CAB" this year. Yeah, right!! What a joke!! A little boys cab on a real mans' chassis. I'm 6'1", excluding the wife, my crew is 6'2" and 6'4" MEN!! With me driving the 1500, and the 6'2" man behind my seat, he wanted out in 10 miles, said it was very uncomfortable. Now, my question is " DC, how much did "FERD" and "Chove it or leave it" pay you guys not to make a real crew cab?" It must have been a lot to keep the real truck buying public from buying your product. Like an earlier post stated, my brother has a crew cab Ford and literally a man could sleep on the floor while another sits in the seat and not run out of room. As well as the previous mentioned DC products, we currently have a '95 Avenger, '01 PT Cruiser and have been loyal MOPAR people since the dates above. I guess to get a real truck, you have to spend the money and buy a Freightliner. The only thing worthwhile about the '03 Rams is the Cummins engine. HEY!! All you 5' men, Dodge has the right truck for you.
Totally disgusted. #@$%! DC, thanks for nothing.
