Off Roading Any pics of 3rd gen lifted 6"?

well i liked the color being orange. that was about the only thing besides the "REAL" 4 doors. hope that D/C will get that point soon. My 01 will be gone the day they start selling that truck.

major problem is it's got a powerchoke in it... nothing wrong w/ a Ford. I prefer Ford over Dodge personally, they just put the wrong engines in 'em :(

Did you see the pic with the spare tire in it. I bet that thing does a lot when matched up with three 44 inchers  :D Why even bother leaving it on there?

There are two things I am wondering about... ... ... ... ... ... . 1 why is Sleddy lookin at Ford on ebay???? Turnin trader??

2 They didn't state the intended use for this truck as in a ... ... . flout pulling parade machine... ... . :D other than that it is nice. .

Craig

yep sleddy is right--I'm indeed looking into this truck as a pull toy---gonna put it in park with the e-brake on and hook it up to my lowly powered twin turbo'd truck and pull that thing all over town until there's nothing left but bit's and pcs then melt them down and make some weights out of it--:D:D and boys that's the only way that thing will be able to say I am a "sledpuller"----(not bad sleddy)-----chris

What is it with the Ford guys and their lift kits??

In MI we have a saying for the Ford boys... ... . "If it don't go... ... lift it!" Which usually means all of them, LOL There are alot of lifted fords around here, huge lifts, step ladder into the bed/cab kinda huge. They are neat looking, but IMO serve absolutely zero purpose, other than the cool factor of course. I do appreciate a good quality lifted truck, too many times they are cheap, unsafe looking lifts, complete with a 2 foot block, LOL.

OMG!!! I'm not sure how many pages that site has, but on Sunday, me and a 6 pack are gonna find out! :D What a great site, thanks for sharing it.

I can see it now... Rob... ... a case of beer ... . a note pad... . pencil and 24hrs to kill... drawing all the neat little things he finds on that web site. Don't forget the 6 inch steel rule to get exact to scale measurements.

Expect to see some new mods to Robs suspension this coming summer.

Craig

"Nice drop pitman arm there, ****stick. "

People this retarded shouldnt be allowed anywhere near a shop full of tools like welders and torches.

Most of it was probably welded with a coat hanger.

Ohhhhh nooooo, I've been lookin' at that site like the "Junkyard wars" for the morons, complete entertainment (the comentary is priceless)... ... ... ..... not for ideas! ;)

I figured there was more of this "innovative" handy work around the world, just haven't had the pleasure of seeing any of it. In MI I've seen hockey pucks for body-lifts, half-arsed tubing welded up to raise the pitman arm about a foot, hose clamps to hold on ladder bars, PVC pipe for body-lifts, leaf spring packs that rival any cement truck on the planet, record setting length u-bolts, along with the "how tall of a block can I possibly put in there" type of trucks, and they wonder why we have laws,
