MDTDC Annual Christmas Party

what happened to the Jersey guys

Oo. Mark when is the last cofffee night. I think i am going to have TNLRAcing install a clutch maybe on friday and afterward shoot by the shop and hang out with the coffee night crowd. That is the plan, let me know what fridays look good. Nothing will hapen until beginning of december.

Its official guys i have bought a house. Not as satisfying as buying a Dodge with a Cummins in it. Its Like i spent all this money just to have more problems in my life, does not make sense.

Hopefully i will stop by for a coffee night. :D

Hi, Does anyone have a RF Brake Caliper for a 2000 non ABS 4X4? I just put a rebuilt one from Autozone on, and it cracked out a piston on the first brake test after bleeding it. :( :{ It is now leaking worst than the original, which blew a piston O-ring on Wednesday. Lots of hassle to get this one for naught. :{ Any rate I am working tomorrow and I'll have to see if Autozone in Bridgeport has one. I guess that's it's good to get pratice changing these things Oo. Moose Oo.

Tim, just glancing throught the Northeast posts here, is the coffee night tommorrow a sure thing?? I've only met up with you guys once, last year at Hooters on the Berlin Tpke. I have the 04. 5 silver Q/C 4X4. Having a 5 yr old little one and a wife that works more hours than I do prevents me from getting out as much as I once did:) It's ok though, she makes 3 times what I do, so it allows me to get a bigger allowance!!

04. 5 2500 Q/C 4X4 48RE Mag Hytek D/D pan, MBRP duals, aFe stage 2 intake, rhino liner, wheel wells, stainless steps.

Yeah but not so often tho!

SMorton=I am not too sure if it is worth the drive for ya tonite as TqT has the right idea about some R+R. It's up to you It usually starts @ 5:30-6:00 But with this Holiday Rediculous Northeastern Self Centered Traffic I prolly wil be late too.

Massive Rant

Darn Right; :{ Got the Caliper from Auto Zone, Decided that the cause of the caliper failure was the Taper wear of the pad. So, I yank off the other wheel and take out it's pads, then throw the pads in the box, with the Receipt. Then, minivan over to Husky Dodge. See my Buddy down at the Parts Department, Find out the Lifetime Pad Warrantee only applies to their Techs doing the work. WTF Over!!! :{ Got a break on the replacement pads :-{} , Going to put them in now, See ya guys later tonight, I think, Moose Oo.

Bummed

Boy am I bummed, started a 30 minute job at 1 pm today, it's 6:15 and I just got home, wanted to swing down to meet the people I've picked on and get my truck violated, maybe next time!!

After I make sure some MAJOR issues are taken care of ie:KDP and tha maintnance is up to snuff, BHAF, LOUD exhaust, "Jake" brake, Larger wheel cylinders, and see where the Bombing takes me from there, need to keep things on a budget, for now, not looking to make crazy power, just enough workable power to haul stuff. Other than that just looking forward to hanging out with guys who speak Diesel, who are willing to share vast amounts of knowledge with a "Probie"

So,

Without going through 39 pages, is the next "get together" December 11, 2005?

Seems this thread started a year ago meeting.

Never been to one, so would love to shovel the sh*@ with al of ya.

Being that I am in jersey and there is nothing here I am going to travel. Where are the coffe night meeting's going to be? there is one dec 2nd where and can any member show or is it invite/register?

Thank's,

Marc

Anyone can show up, however, on a Friday night, you'll be fighting traffic for a while, but that's up to you.

You can pick up 8 North from 95 in Bridgeport. You are about 20 minutes from 95 to the shop. 8 North in Bridgeport is about 50 minutes from the NY border with NO TRAFFIC... (this could easily be a 2 hour ride if traffic is heavy)

FROM NORTH OR SOUTH ON ROUTE 8

"Exit 15 CT-34 Derby"

Turn Right At End Of Ramp

1/10th Of A Mile And Keep To The Left

You will see TAILGATORS on the left at this point while you are at the light.

Turn Left On CT-115, Derby Ave And Go North For 0. 6 Miles to 326 Derby Ave

Driveway Is Just After An Empty Lot And Between Two Brick Buildings On The Left.

Absolutly come on by. It has been a mecca of people that come by , regulars , on spot new guys etc and there is allways something going on. It has usually been every friday nite and TqT has been gracious enough to bless us with a place to meet and mingle. Coffee nite has been up and steady for a lil' over 3 years now and has spun off some of the most gut busting hillarities yet to be seen. Also it still is one of the most tech laden constant events ever seen. So come on down , hang out or feel free to install something (As long as it isn't a trans, or say a certain 6 inch exhaust :-laf )
