As far as everything else needed for your job, it should be up there.

Can you hold off a few weeks? Wanna get some crap cleaned out of there first.

I can bring the mig. I'll bring the smoke wrench too, if you want. Both need their bottles filled. I can stop at ABCO during the week and do that.

Eh, the truck runs, so I guess it's no emergency. Scott didn't make a huge deal of it when I was up there. He just said replace it at my earliest convenience. So, I guess it's not convenient yet.

no problem marc ill hang onto it gives me a few weeks to build it anyways i had no time. did you call up dan (DMcPherson) at metro power in rocky hill im sure he can help you out with the lift pump. I have his number just ask me for when i come up tonight

man for anyone that missed last night it was pretty simple night, no blood no missing parts all went smooth! Things came out better then before. my kitty dosent growl at me anymore either :)

It looks like the moose is getting a new lift pump for Friday Oo. It's a GDP GFS-392 Lift Pump System '98. 5-'02 90 GPM :D Good bye Mr. Carter!!! Should have bought a FASS or this GDP a year and 1/2 ago!! Any rate, Should be quick Install. Just need some one w/ small hands and two elbows to get the orginal fuel line off of the tank and the new one on  Moose00

Looks like truck is getting fixed while I'm on vacation!!! Hopefully I'll be able to stop down the 2nd friday in August!! Just gotta find a wrecker to follow me! :D

Moose thats a nice system, I have benn eyeing it myself, I ended up doing a pusher pump along with my stock pump, once I decide to get rid of this setup the Glacier pump kit will go in :)

I want to replace the plug in the front end of my P-pump with a different one. Is there a way to get the top of the front case out of the way to get the plug out? Or does the pump have to come off?

Oh, yeah. Lots of trucks probably lose a little oil between changes. Mine seems to gain it. Must be fuel gettin in somewhere. Anyway, the truck was about a quart over full, so I decided it was time to do a change. That's when I discovered there must be some sort of special tool or a trick required to get the oil filter out, because it's definitely not in a nice spot. Is there a particular filter wrench I should be using, or one of those filter sockets?? I ended up just leaving the filter in place and putting in new oil for now. I have 5 gallons of Royal Purple coming, and I need to find a place to get Fleetguard filters. Probably just as well I didn't put that POS Fram in anyway.

I have a strap wrench with a short pivoting handle. I'll try to get at it the way you said when the Purple gets here and I find a Fleetguard filter. Thanks.
