And you overvalved guys thought you were safe clicky :--)

KDP Party!!! If we need to do it, Lets do it. I think we should come up with a list of stuff needed, and get the stuff, as a kit. For example, Gasket Set, Front Crank Seal, Tab Washer (We can fabricate these in house :) ) Ect... This Just in after a brief shearch... .

"Go to the cummins shop and ask for a 3958017 it is a real nice tab to keep the kdp in,it is about $2. Pull the 2 bolts out behind the cam gear clean them and the holes with brakekleen and use red locktight and put em back at 18 ft lbs no tighter. There are 4 bolts in the oil pump(bottom left as u face engine) dont tighten them more than spec 18ft. lbs or itl cost you 200 bucks for new oil pump, dont ask. Use a punch and bfh to tapp the kdp in to seat it and use the tab. There may be 1 more cover bolt inside but i cant remember for sure. "

I'd guess that the 1st truck will take an evening, by the last we can get 2 a night. Moose00

I finally broke down and wired up the marker lights Sunday.

Tires came today. Nice, tall skinnies. They're directional with huge lugs. Not quite what I expected. Should be awesome in mud and snow, but I imagine they'll be a horror show in the rain. I'll give them a try.

Moose... PARANOID????? Geez. :-laf This isn't the first 24 valve to have this problem.

I remember reading about it before. Funny thing is that both trucks were maroon, but I wouldn't worry...

Who Me worry? An once of Prevention is worth a pound of Cure (and a ton of wifey incrimination :-{} )

Just bought an ATS manifold on eBay, with the gaskets, so that takes care of my lack of turbo gasket. So now I need to find some stainless 4" flex pipe with band clamps and a turbo drain seal. I think Fleetpride has the flex pipe.
