Good to hear it. I was thinking, We should come up with a list of commonly need Cummins parts, and get them in "Shop Stock". I'd say hit every one up for, say $20. 00. If you need one of those parts, us it and replace it with the same part later.



A short list would be: Valvecover gaskets, Banjo Bolt Washers, Turbo and Ext Manifold gaskets, Grid heater gaskets, Light bulbs, and Nuts, Bolts, and Studs.

OK, another heat cycle in. Valve cover gasket in and no more leaks.

Now... I have the helicopter noise. Matt heard it also when we started it up on Saturday. I am thinking now that it is turbo related... picked thru the boneyard of turbos to get me going. Never had the noise before.

On Friday I'll put in the HX-35/40 that I had in there before and see what happens, will be an easy swap. I know the noise wasn't there with that in.

I'm thinking that there is exhaust pulses coming thru to the intake side. Remember when we took the intercooler boot off the horn and the noise was basically gone?
