For 2003, the all-new Dodge Ram Heavy Duty is aiming at the heart of the heavy-duty market with two new engine offerings and, for the first time on a Ram, a 3500 single rear wheel option.

Sweet Oo.

MASSIVE TORQUE

Awwwwwww! If I had known I could get a MASSIVE 450lb TORQUE instead of a puny 505, and gotten bad gas mileage to boot.....

..... sign me up for that V10!!!

I think I remember them saying something about the 12 valve engines going to the 300k marker on average, and the 24 valve going to 400k. What the heck is this "improved life span to 350k" BS?

One of my friends just went over to the darkside and bought a F**D. Claims that he heard DC and Cummins had a falling out and that Cummins was history. Hmmm, can't say as there is any credibility with that story, given all of the above info and pix from the show. Must've been talking to a F**D fan.

Just curious if Cummins is going to spec a different weight oil for the new engine as so many manufacturers are doing these days. Did you hear anything about that?

Too Bad its dramatically more quite! I sure hope you can still hear a Cummin's "cummin"!!!!! At least 30% of the reason I love my Cummin's so much is that great sound!
