Carrying some extra fuel?

8.3L Possibilities?

Went to the Cummins website under RV ISB Engines and it seems that Cummins no longer has the 275/675 versions anymore. However they have 260/550,275/660 and 300/660 versions. It seems to me that the 260/550 would be perfect for the Dodge H. O trucks. DC give us what we :  WANT :D :D :D

Have a buddy who lives in the Keys... . lost his motorhome to a hurricane a couple years ago. Insurance bought him a new one... same brand, size, motor, trans. , etc... . apples-to-apples comparisson; the one that was destroyed was a 12V and the replacement an ISB. He is sorely disappointed in the new rig! Gets much less mileage, less performance (hp rating is the same!) and is far noisier. DC, give us what we want: the END of the ISB series... how about common-rail injection, 350hp, silent operation and 30mpg!!!!

A silent Diesel?!?!?!? I don't think so!

I can't stand it when I read a magazine article that complains about how noisy the diesels are. If it's too noisy then buy a gasser.

I agree with WOWZY-real engines rattle! :D

Evan, I have seen the 275/675 rating on the Cummins website before. I guess it was just used for certain fire and bus applications. I wonder if Cummins detuned it because of emissions? Thats about all i know. I try to search that website daily to gather information, not to mention its just plain FUN>>> :)
