Competition Muncie Dyno Results

Competition MUNCIE predictions

We finally did it. We left Denver with a fresh #6 piston, and a new tuneup, but basically the same as the 9. 11 high altitude run.

We unloaded, and on the first pass in the morning, we ran 9. 07 on a slightly short run (shut off early to be safe) and with a soft launch.

Second pass: Right at the end of the National anthem, we blasted the same tune up again, hard all the way, and only hit a 9. 05. The air was way too good to waste. We decided to get agressive with the tune-up.

Third pass.

After a couple adjustments, we rolled back up and told Dustin to give it the best shot.

Here are the results:

. 501 Reaction Time (wow!)

1. 21 60 ft

5. 51 at the 1/8 (123. 84 MPH)

8. 752 at the 1/4 (148. 63 MPH)

Photos and more later... .

Congrats!!!!!!!

I stayed to watch three vehicles run and the dragster was on top of the list. It was very cool to get to see it run in person.

nervous!

We were gettting concerned that we would not do the "8" so we went a little radical. Glad that there were quite a few in the stands when we did it. We are going to try the new tuneup back here to see if we can spool... .

That thing took off like a sling shot... .

Power through a 2 speed PowerGlide GM auto. I still can't get over how they have been able to beef those things up.

So is that bad little ride going to hit some tracks competitively against some other (gasser) dragsters (bracket)? That would be just way too cool!

Nice work guys! :)

that was awesome!!! i hope u guys heard the crowd roar when u did the 8 second pass!! i know i was yelling and clapping!! that was awesome!!! thanks for making the long trip out and showing us what its all about!!!

Totally agree... ... . That was a real blast. The 8 sec . It was really a great time to get to talk to you and Dustin. Really, a fantistic job. Glad you like the air on this side of the big river. And remember... ... ... ... . " timing is everything".

Congratulations.

next event?

We are off to Grand Junction Colorado next time, (June 26th) and will probably do a exhibition run, and then a "grudge pass" agains a local over there.

We do have a couple more major events planned across the country, but let us know where we should be, and we may just show up...

We are trying to get into a national event for NHRA to do a demo run between the semis and the finals for "filler" against a hot Dodge truck to show the performance of the diesels...

Will let everyone know if we get it pulled off.
