The 24V in the TJ will be tight. Drivetrain length will be a major problem. My truck is not here or I would measure the engine and check it against my TJ. I would be more concerned with the weight distribution. The weight of the motor would make it awefully front end heavy. Though, my TJ weighs in at a little over 4000#. I think a better option would be going with a 4b. It would be shorter and easier to fit. Also, with a little bombing, it would outdo the hp and torque of the 6 cylinder. Axles are a nother thing to worry about. If you are gentle on the gas, the 9" will survive. If you are the type of person that is heavy on the gas, plan on replacing it and upgrading the front as well. Just some random thoughts.
