Cummins, GM and Ford Diesel componet comparison

Hey guys! We are in the middle of an in frame overhaul on an L10 Cummins and find ourselves in need of the torque specs for the main caps, rod caps, and heads. I would greatly appreciate anybody out there with those numbers to throw them my direction. Local dealer wanted to charge us for the info, after selling us the kit. Go figure... Thanks!

Alright, just getting home.

If you have it handy give me the ESN, I will look it up after supper.

I can do it right from home, no problem

Mike.

Mike,

I really appreciate this! The engine # is: 34571461

Thanks again!

Howard

Tried it at home last night but Cummins Quickserve didn't give me squat on an L-10 service manual.

I am going to try here in a few minutes using the ESN, if that doesn't work I will go out to the Service Library and scan you the info.

Bear with me, I will get it to you.

Mike. :)

Howard,

Please e-mail me and I will attach the pages to the return e-mail. I won't be able to put it on here and have it legible.

There was nothing on QuickServe, so I took it from the book. Greasy fingerprints and all... ..... :-laf

Or send me a PM with your e-mail address.

It is all ready to send... .

Hey mike, could I persuade you to look up specs for a cummins 555? We don't have an ESN and no one around here is willing to do any digging, I've got numbers for a 903 but really don't like working like that. I'll owe ya big time!

I'll certainly give it my best shot.

My uncle had a couple of those "Triple Nickles" and may have the manual somewhere.

We should have one at work, but I had to dig pretty deep to find the old L-10 book.

I am going down tomorrow to change my transmission line and will see what I can find for you.

Mike. :)
