Or more video that you'll never get posted... ... :D:D

We'll be there...

Mike.

OK Mike.....

I felt bad. Actually I felt horrible. You have never asked for anything other than this one thing. And you have helped me MANY times, and have helped out many others here for nothing in return. So I thought it was time I try to return the favor.

Sooooo, I went digging on old hard drives from before my old laptop (that I had at the time) crashed. And once I found it, then I extracted the raw data. Then put it through the videomaker, edited it, added a few things, and BINGO! SO NO MORE BELLY ACHIN' OUT OF YOU MR!!!!! :-laf:{:DOo. LMAO

So everyone knows, take note of the truck at the 42 second mark..... LOL ;)

So there! :D

Glad you like it! Makes it worth the time that went into it! :)

Seems it must have been so good it has caught Mike speechless. That doesn't happen very often! :D

I've been waiting to get home so that I may view it without the stop / jerk motion of the internet at the Houlton store... . #@$%!

I am however disappointed with the lack of black smoke from my truck, Seth must have been driving on that stretch... :D :D

Thank you for digging that out and putting it together, I almost teared up a little... only because I can't bust your stones about it anymore. BUT I thought for sure that you would put some smoke shots in from SRay's wagon... . :-laf

But seriously, Thanks!!! That is nice.

Mike. :)

:sniff: :sniff: Smoke? Ok, 1st gen it is... . :D Hope you got windshield wipers on yer' sunglasses... ... :-laf

BSchwarzli, think the UCC will smoke on the trailer? :-laf Are you gonna save camshaft break-in for the TDR gathering to witness? :D

I sincerely hope you find the time to take some more videos of this years event. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend :{. We have had plans to visit family in Wyoming that week for several months now and as much as I tried I could not get everybody to agree on pushing it back a week. It was either the first week in June or the first week in August and August is out for me because that is our annual 4wheeling run down in W Virginia. Are there ever any other TDR events on this end of the country? I am new to TDR but have been a long time Dodge Cummins owner/fan and would love to witness an event with a bunch of Cummins powered rigs like some of the videos youve been posting the last few days. I watch that video and just cant stop :D

Well you can still rib me come June. Will likely take me another 1. 5 years to get diesel4life's video up! LMAO :D

No. I tried not to get too much of Shawns smoke in there! That only encourages him! LOL

We will miss you man!

Glad you are enjoying the videos! I can make more but please see fine print above! :D LOL

Hope you all have a great time. If you get to tour the truck plant again, pay attention to the station where they install the steering intermediate shaft, the ujoint shaft that connects the steering column to the rack and pinion gear. That part is designed, manufactured, tested and shipped from Watertown, Connecticut. The tilt steering column's main shaft is also manufactured there.
Hope you enjoy the plant tours. (Having been to so many automotive plants, and engine assembly plants it gets old hat for me, too much like work. LOL)
I know the comraderie is the big reason you go, so have a ball!!

See this is what happens when you miss events. You don't know how it works! Lol :D

Last time a day before (think it was the Thursday) we had the tour of Warren truck then all drove down to CMEP.

That's the pre event I am toying with redoing.

Just wondering if there are any members from Western Canada planning on driving to Columbus in June? It's a long drive ( about 3000kms from Edmonton ) and would be great to have others to caravan with. Shad

I think it would be great if we could get some non-Dodge Cummins powered vehicles there this year. Like old Chebbies or Ferds or somehing real interesting. Shad

Ummmm, dude. Watch your language! ferd and chebbies. Those are for wimps! We dont want to bring our high class event here into the gutter!

Ooooh. My bad. You want that for the monster truck squishing event..... understood! Maybe this is a great idea! :)

OH!! I'm sorry. I misunderstood, myself. That is most acceptable... ... I wouldn't mind driving a Chevy, if they'd then let me run it over with my Dodge!! :D

I'm sorry :{ I wasn't trying to offend anyone. :D I am a Dodge man and a Cummins man, but I do admire "other" vehicles as well. In this case the "other" vehicles would have to be powered by a Cummins, after all we are going to the Cummins plant only not the Dodge plant. When the first Cummins powered Dodge showed up at our shop back in the fall of 88 while everyone was looking at the engine I was underneath the truck looking at the mounts and wondering ' what kind of trans is that?' I have helped lots of customers repower their "other" vehicles, Toyota LandCruiser, Dodge Dakota, Class C & A Dodge motorhomes, Older Dodges, Chebbies and Ferds ( sorry theres those words again  ) from the 40's and up, even boats. Then there are the swapping of engine versions into different year Dodges than they were intended for. For example a 96 CTD in a 93 W350, a 98 CTD in an 03 3500. And lets not forget older Crew Cabs :-laf

Just my opinion but I think it would be good for the folks at Cummins to see first hand what other people do with their engines. :) Shad
