What would happen if you had the Cummins uprate kit installed, and then added an EZ? I'm asking hypothetically, I'm not going to do this. But my question is:
Would you wind up with more h. p. /TQ with the uprate and EZ than with no uprate kit and an EZ?
I'm assuming so, but I may be missing something. I'm assuming the EZ doesn't change the fuel mapping program, it just kind of adds a variable multiplier in the mix (between computer and fuel pump). If so, it should still multiply what the computer is sending with the uprate. What do you guys think? More power with the uprate and an EZ, or would the uprate be a total waste?
