Curb weight of 2500

Hello,

I have done some looking on line to find out the base curb weight of my truck.
It is a 2015 2500 heavy duty crew cab long bed tradesman with a 6.7 turbo deisel. No one agrees. I have found every thing from 6,580 lbs up to 7,820 lbs.


Does anyone know where to find the real curb weight?

The yellow & white sticker on the drivers door B pillar will list the weight of your truck as it came off the line. It should also have some other weights on it.

For about $12 you can get it weighed at a Cat Scales. See catscales.com for locations.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just went out and looked at my sticker on the door and door post and they didn't put the curb weight on my sticker. I have the GVWR and the GAWR and a contradicting loaded weight capacity of only 1,981 lbs of cargo when the GVWR is 10,000 lbs. That would put my truck at 8,019 lbs curb weight. I don't think it's that heavy at least I hope not. I guess I will go the CAT route and find the actual weight,

Take you a load of trash to the dump. Here it's a $5.00 minimum and I'm sure you have something to throw away.

I remember something about them leaving off 200lbs from the sticker to account for driver weight since most people forget to account for their own body weight when figuring loading capacity. So that would put it right at the 7,820 lbs.

After 08, RAM included 150 for driver and 150 for passenger

I'm lucky because we have a county dump any time I need the weight of some vehicle I go to the dump and weight it its free for County residence
