Competition Anybody use MicroBlue Turbo Bearing Coating?

Competition dynoed today

To put the overkill into perspective for all. I work on 3516 cats daily. V16 engines that runs in the 1800-2500 hp range. It is supplied by a 1/2 inch #8 fuel line. ;) They burn on average of 100 gallons of fuel per hour.

Does a little 5. 9litre engine REALLY need the size fuel lines that are being used here?

Looks nice! I used a 5/8 draw straw from vulcan performance, to a 10 micron twist on filter, feeding an A1000 pump with -10 going out, then -6 into the p-pump.

Ah ha! Lucky dog, my 89 tank must of been when Dodge was stilling using gasser components. I don't have the prefilter screen like that attached to the float assembly, just a hole in the assembly for fuel to flow into. All I had was like the gassers of old, a metal sock over the fuel pickup:eek:.

Mine uses a 10AN all the way to the injection pump were it Y's off to (2) 6AN feeds. Overkill has to be done in some cases, Drag Racing in one of them as you having to overcome the forward motion, so having more pump and more line is a must.

The second 6AN line netted me 5 psi of boost and more smoke, now we'll see if the Silver Bullet will clean that up from the SPS 66.

I used a -10 all the way into the front plug on the pump. Fitting -10 to M18 from B. A. T. By going into the front, it makes me wonder if prssure drops off to the rear of the pump on WOT runs. . FP only drops about 4 lbs which is read on the return side of the pump.
